Prof. John Pfautz

Prof. John is a professor emeritus of music at Augustana College in Illinois, USA.  He has been teaching and learning church music in both West and East Africa on multiple occasions since 2005.  He earned his Bachelors degree in Music Education from Eastern Nazarene College, his Masters of Music from the University of Missouri, and his Doctor of Music degree from West Virginia University.  He also attended the Nazarene Seminary in Kansas City.  He has been a church musician for over 45 years, the last 25 in the Reformed Church of America, and before that with the Church of the Nazarene.  John and Lorelei have 3 married children and 10 grandchildren.
